Terms of Service

Scanlo generates QR codes that route through a Scanlo short link so you can track scans. You are responsible for the destination URLs you configure and for having the right to use them.

A printed code's redirect keeps working regardless of your plan, lapse, or downgrade. We never disable a redirect because of billing. What changes between plans is the number of codes you can actively edit, analytics depth, history window, and branding, never whether a code resolves.

You may not use Scanlo to redirect to malware, phishing, illegal content, or to deceive scanners about a link's destination. We validate destinations and screen them against Google Safe Browsing on save and periodically thereafter. We may suspend a code or account that abuses the service; a suspended code shows a neutral notice instead of redirecting.

The Free plan is offered at no cost. The Standard plan is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe at the prices shown on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period, after which the account returns to Free and codes beyond the Free limit are frozen (they keep redirecting; editing is locked). Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. The redirect destination is a third party we do not control; if it goes down, the scanner sees that destination's own error.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Codes that have never been scanned may be permanently deleted; codes with scan history are frozen rather than deleted, so a printed artifact never fails unexpectedly.
